A Republican-led bill that would give amnesty to the nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the DACA program is the first legislation on the issue that would make E-Verify mandatory for all U.S. employers, thus barring illegal aliens from the American workforce.

President Donald Trump has effectively endorsed the House GOP’s immigration reform bill, just one day after he invited Democrats and Republicans from both House and Senate to negotiate a deal.

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Wolf,” Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) stated that while he will vote for money for barriers along the border, he’s still a fiscal conservative and won’t vote to spend $40 billion on these barriers. Rand said, “I remain a fiscal conservative, even on the wall. So, I’m not excited about spending 20, 30, 40 dollars billion on a wall. I’m still a believer that we don’t have money to spend. We’re $700 billion in the hole. I heard from somebody the other day that said we built 2,700 miles of concrete barriers on our interstates — you know, all those noise control barriers — we’ve done that for $2 billion. So, I think the price tag should be debated. And I think we can have barriers, and we will have barriers in certain places. I think we should also use technology, which is less expensive. But the barriers, I think we need to look at the cost of them. The people advocating for it are forgetting that they are fiscally conservative, and they’re just giving just enormous numbers. So, yes, I would look at the number very carefully, and while I will vote for money for barriers, I’m not

Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said President Donald Trump “broke America’s promise” to beneficiaries of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy by voiding President Barack Obama’s executive order to force Congress to act. When asked about Trump’s bipartisan immigration meeting yesterday Warren said,  “What I was glad to see is that we are moving forward on getting a clean DREAM Act.” She continued, “These young DREAMers are in peril only because President Trump broke America’s promise. Years ago America promised that if these young people would come out of the shadows and they would be fully vetted, then they would have the opportunity to go to school here in America, they would have the opportunity to get jobs, to join the military, to become a full part of the American fabric.” She added, “Here they are, these young people who are part of America, and President Trump said a few months ago, nope, that’s it, we are going to toss them out of the country, and the only ones who can save them from this is Congress. So it’s now Congress’s job to step up. We want to see this happen. We want to see it
